New language, new life, new craft.

I'm Alex Nguyen, a fullstack web developer based in the Czech Republic.

I grew up in Vietnam planning to become a doctor. At 17 my family moved to Czechia. New language, new life, and formal school stopped making sense, so I taught myself to code instead. Small projects turned into bigger ones. Since 2024 I've been building products at Popcorn Group, a digital agency in Most: car dealer platforms, public projects, internal tools, and my own products.

My stack today is Django, PostgreSQL, Tailwind and Alpine.js, and I'm moving into React and Next.js. AI makes me faster, but it does not decide what is worth building. I care about the core of a product: does it work, is it clear, does it earn trust.

I'm still learning, every day. That is the point.

What I believe
